“Unmasking the Battle: Jack Quaid’s Thrilling New Movie ‘Novocaine’ and His Wild NBA Game Experience!”

Jack Quaid appears to be looking rather rough!
The 32-year-old performer attended an NBA matchup in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, March 9 — showcasing visible injuries that seemed to worsen while endorsing his latest film Novocaine.
Jack shared a Boomerang snippet on his Instagram Stories from the game, which featured the Sacramento Kings versus the Los Angeles Clippers, flashing a thumbs up with one arm bandaged and held in a sling, along with bruises on his face, seated courtside beside his Novocaine costar Amber Midthunder.
In a clip shared by Pop Crave on X, Jack was subsequently spotted being interviewed on the court while wearing a neck brace and having his arm in a cast. He later appeared with both arms in casts from his spot.
Jack also uploaded an image of himself giving another thumbs up while sporting his arm cast, which bore the message, “Go Clippers!” in black handwriting, seemingly taken from behind the scenes at the game.
In Novocaine, Jack portrays bank executive Nate, who is incapable of feeling pain, utilizing this as his advantage to retaliate against those who abduct his colleague. Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh also feature in the film.
On Monday, March 10, Jack and his colleagues marked the premiere of Novocaine at the Paramount Theater in Los Angeles.
Ray — the offspring of Jack Nicholson and the antagonist in Novocaine — expressed to PEOPLE at the premiere that it “was incredibly enjoyable” collaborating on the action-comedy film.
“Jack [Quaid] is definitely a superstar,” remarked Ray, 33. “He’s extraordinarily gifted and exceptionally kind. Strangely enough, we had never crossed paths, despite being the same age and him attending school with several of my friends.”
Jack, on the other hand, is the child of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. Furthermore, in December 2024, he disclosed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that his parents were initially opposed to him pursuing acting.
“They weren’t first very excited about it as they knew how challenging it was for them, so they were like, ‘Oh gosh, not another one,’ ” he mentioned.
Added Jack regarding his renowned parents, “But ultimately they came to terms with it and were exceedingly supportive, for which I’m incredibly thankful.”
Novocaine will be in theaters on Friday, March 14.
