Woody Harrelson’s 3 Kids: All About Zoe, Deni and Makani
Harrelson’s first child, Deni, was born on March 5, 1994. She doesn’t have public social media profiles and stays out of the spotlight. That said, she has made rare appearances on the red carpet alongside her dad, mom and sisters.
In February 2023, Deni walked the red carpet in New York City with her parents and younger sister Makani for the premiere of his movie Champions. She wore a stylish black-and-white matching two-piece set and a red hat for a pop of color.
In a 2008 interview with Esquire, Harrelson talked about how becoming a father unexpectedly changed him.
“I remember my daughter Deni coming along, and she was so pure and caring of everybody and everything,” he told the magazine. “And somehow, this little being managed to get around all the obstacles – the gun turrets, the walls, the moats, the sentries – that were wrapped around my heart.”
The True Detective alum added, “My heart at the time needed her. I think it’s the best thing going, parenthood.”
Zoe Giodano Harrelson-Louie, 28
Harrelson and Louie welcomed their youngest child, Makani, on June 3, 2006.
A few days later, the couple announced the birth of their daughter via a joint statement.
“In this crazy patriarchal world we live in, we are doing our part to balance the energy,” it read, according to Today. “We are proud to announce the completion of our goddess trilogy with the birth of our third daughter, Makani Ravello.”
As she’s grown, Makani has connected with the kids of her dad’s famous friends. In 2013, Harrelson appeared alongside Owen Wilson on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and they briefly talked about their children.
During their conversation, Harrelson shared that Makani and Wilson’s son Ford were “quite good friends.”
“Makani took Ford to show-and-tell at her school,” Wilson said as a cute picture of Makani holding Ford in her classroom was shown to the live audience.
Makani is another daughter interested in the arts and may even follow in her dad’s acting footsteps. In 2016, she appeared with Harrelson in the thriller film LBJ. The following year, she played a character named Deni in the movie Lost in London, which also starred her father.
