Who Is NBA Star Donte DiVincenzo’s Girlfriend? All About Morgan Calantoni

Donte DiVincenzo has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Morgan Calantoni since 2017.

The basketball player met Calantoni, who grew up in Philadelphia, during his college career when he played basketball for the Villanova Wildcats, and she was a cheerleader for their rivals, the Temple Owls, per Sports Illustrated. DiVincenzo was then drafted by the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks in 2018 and has since played for the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Calantoni has been by his side to support him throughout his career, and she gave birth to their son, Kai, in 2024. The couple have had pet dogs, too, and DiVincenzo has previously told the New York Post of their plans to open an establishment for rescue dogs after his NBA career.

Calantoni is from Pennsylvania

Calantoni was born and raised in Pennsylvania.

Her father, George, died from ALK-positive lung cancer in 2022, and Calantoni has helped raise awareness of ALK-positive cancers. She has posted tributes to her father on Instagram, with one saying, “Missing you more and more every single day, the best daddy in the world.”

Calantoni attended Temple University

Calantoni studied strategic communication at Temple University in Philadelphia from 2015 to 2019. She made the dean’s list four times, won four student athlete honors awards, and achieved Latin honors too, per her LinkedIn profile.

While at Temple, she was involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America, while she was also an instructor with the Universal Cheerleaders Association and an intern at Vizion Group and Sidelines Sportswear & Promotions.

When graduating, Calantoni paid tribute to her college experience on Instagram, “Can’t thank Temple enough for giving me some of my most treasured memories.”

They met in 2017

The couple met in 2017 when DiVincenzo was playing for the Villanova Wildcats and Calantoni was a cheerleader for the Temple Owls, per Sports Illustrated — both college teams are rivals and part of the Philadelphia Big 5.

She and DiVincenzo share a son

In April 2024, Calantoni announced with a series of Instagram photos that she gave birth to their son, Kai. She wrote in the caption, “Life is so much better with you in it.”

She shared her pregnancy in January with the caption “Soon”, a blue heart emoji and an image of Polaroids, in which she showed off her baby bump.

In September, she posted a series of photos of Kai, including a family photo featuring the three of them. “Life is sweet,” she wrote in the caption.

Calantoni works in marketing

Following her internship at Sidelines Sportswear & Promotions, she got a job there as a marketing coordinator. The role involved working on email marketing campaigns, managing social media accounts and building advertisement campaigns.

From February 2021 to March 2024, Calantoni then worked as a marketing project manager at Everything Clicks. On Instagram, the company thanked her for her work and said, “Morgan has a great energy that she brings to our team, and is an awesome person to collaborate with.”

She and DiVincenzo share a passion for dogs

DiVincenzo is known for his love of dogs — he was seen visiting the Wisconsin Humane Society during his time with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Athlon Sports — and his girlfriend is also a dog person.

On Calantoni’s Instagram Stories Highlights, she has one full of photos of dogs. In 2020, she posted a photo of herself with one of her dogs, with the caption, “Love u so much my fat boy.”

In February 2024, DiVincenzo told the New York Post that the couple are looking at opening their own “heaven” for rescue dogs, something they’ve been planning for a number of years. They’ve looked at potential locations and “are slowly learning about foundations and rescues that do things the right way.”
