Leanna Lenee is Travis Hunter’s forever teammate.

The Colorado Buffaloes football player got engaged to his girlfriend well over a year before the 2025 NFL Draft. The couple, who announced their engagement in 2024, were teenagers when they first met, and Lenee has previously shared on Instagram that Hunter came into her life at the “most unexpected time.”

“I would constantly pray that God would give me a reason to keep moving forward so I can fulfill his plan for me. That he would give me motivation to continue, and you were his answer,” she wrote of Hunter in a post in February 2023.

Meanwhile, Hunter has stated that he’s “so happy God” led him to Lenee. Writing to his love in an Instagram post in November 2022, the athlete penned, in part, “You are one of a kind and I truly believe that we are meant to be together. You are the best girlfriend in the world and I’ll paint the sky red by any means. I know I make you crazy but trust me I ain’t going no where and I’ll always be yours.”

Hunter has also vowed “to do everything possible” to make Lenee the “happiest woman in the world.”

She is a Sagittarius

Lenee was born in November 2001, making her a Sagittarius. Hunter, who was born in 2003, celebrated his then-girlfriend’s 21st birthday on Nov. 24, 2022, with a romantic post on his Instagram.

“BabyGirl I love you so much,” he gushed. “I’m so thankful for you. I’m so happy to see you grow into the young lady you are becoming.”

She went to Kennesaw State University

Lenee graduated from Kennesaw State University with her bachelor’s degree in 2022. She revealed in an Instagram post that same year that she finished her four-year degree in just two years.

She and Hunter met as teenagers

Lenee was 19 years old when she and Hunter met.

Sharing a TikTok in March 2024 of the two of them eating take-out late at night, she wrote, “What it feels like when God allows you to meet the man of your dreams at 19 and every night together for the past 3 years has felt like a sleepover with your best friend.”

She and Hunter started dating in 2022

It took the couple a few months to get together, but they started dating in February 2022. Hunter confessed in a YouTube video with Lenee in October 2022 that he shot his shot on Instagram. Lenee ended up not responding for about two months, and when she did, she just wanted to be friends.

The two proceeded to text for about another two months. However, things changed after Hunter accompanied Lenee to a friend’s birthday dinner because she didn’t want to go alone. Hunter said they’ve been “in love ever since then.”

The pair have celebrated their anniversary with posts on Feb. 26.

“Happy Anniversary Babygirl More Years To Come I Love You So Much❤️❤️❤️,” Hunter wrote on his Instagram in 2023. That same year, Lenee wished the athlete a happy anniversary, adding, “I pray God gives us many more years together❤️.”

The couple announced their engagement in February 2024. Hunter popped the question with a dazzling ring featuring a diamond band.

“A million times, yes 💍,” Lenee captioned the engagement pictures on Instagram.

The couple have their own YouTube channel, sharing their first video in October 2022. Since then, Hunter and Lenee have uploaded videos from trips, their engagement party weekend, wedding dress shopping and more.

The duo also appear in each other’s TikTok videos. In August 2024, Hunter shared a video of the two of them dancing in different animal onesies, captioning it, “Im not the only one with hella onesie,” and tagging in his fiancée.

Following her 22nd birthday, Lenee showed off a Tesla Model X that she received from Hunter. The vehicle featured Hello Kitty print along the inside of the doors.

She’s surprised Hunter with a truck

Hunter isn’t the only one in the relationship who has gifted the other a car. For the Buffs star’s 21st birthday in 2024, Lenee surprised her fiancé with a Ram 1500 TRX.

The athlete couldn’t contain his excitement after his blindfold was removed and he saw his “dream truck,” even briefly leaping on the car. Asked if he was happy, an elated Hunter smiled and nodded.

She’s a Packers fan

Lenee admitted in a 2022 YouTube video that she would like for her beau to be drafted by the Green Bay Packers.

She explained, “Because I love the Packers and my godfather coached the Packers.” Lenee then noted that she wants Hunter to get drafted by “any team,” but pointed out that if he goes to one that she doesn’t like, it’s going to be “hard” to cheer.
