Trey Plutnicki from *Squid Game: The Challenge* is engaged!
The reality star, known for competing on the Netflix hit alongside his mother, LeAnn Wilcox Plutnicki, as well as in the all-star competition *Battle Camp*, announced his proposal to girlfriend Cecilia Iole in a joint Instagram post on Saturday, April 19.
The heartfelt post featured several photos from the special moment, captioned simply with “4.17.25,” which appears to be the date Trey proposed.
Accompanied by the song “You’re My Home” by Billy Joel, the pictures capture the fan-favorite contestant proposing against the stunning backdrop of the Chicago skyline, as Iole, an actress and singer, beams with joy.
Trey dressed in straight-leg blue jeans, complemented by a gray jacket over a multicolored top and brown shoes. Cecilia looked elegant in a black dress adorned with gold polka dots and paired with black stilettos. She completed her chic look with a tan trench coat and a petite black purse.
The post also showcased moments following the proposal, including their affectionate embrace and kiss, with Iole proudly displaying her engagement ring to the camera. A close-up revealed a simple gold band featuring a large emerald flanked by two diamonds.
Many of Trey’s *Squid Game: The Challenge* co-stars congratulated the couple in the comments section. Hallie Parrott expressed her excitement, saying, “I’M SMILING SO HARD AHHHHHH YOU TWO ARE PERFECT TOGETHER 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 SO HAPPY FOR YOU.”

Iole later posted a selfie with Trey on her Instagram Stories, captioning it simply with the word “Fiancé.” In the booth booth capture, the couple smiled together while linking their arms.
She also shared the engagement post on her Stories with the sweet message, “Still floating.”
The couple frequently shares moments from their relationship on social media. This past Valentine’s Day, Trey dedicated a heartfelt tribute to Cecilia, showcasing photos from their journey together, including performances on stage, playful mirror selfies while donning bike helmets, and a romantic kiss at an outdoor event.
