Tom Sandoval Hopes People Will ‘Finally’ Take Him ‘Seriously’ in Intense First Trailer for The Traitors Season 3
An all-new cast of stars is ready to risk everything in season 3 of The Traitors.
In the first trailer for the highly-anticipated return of Peacock’s “nail-biting psychological adventure,” contestants from shows as wide-ranging as Survivor, The Bachelor and the Real Housewives of Dubai gather in Scotland to play the ultimate murder mystery game.
“Come friends, come foe, come one, come all to the Highlands to see who lives and who falls,” host Alan Cumming says as the trailer begins.
Right out of the gate, the contestants’ enthusiasm is clear as RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Bob the Drag Queen has a “thirst for blood” and Dorinda Medley asserts that she “intends to leave as queen of the castle.”
Survivor‘s Carolyn Wiger thinks she can “handle anything this game can throw at me,” but there’s gonna be snakes, fiery explosions and someone is hanging on for dear life off of a helicopter.
“If I were them, I’d be scared,” fellow Survivor alum Rob Mariano warns.
As the drama unfolds, Dylan Efron says things are getting “crazy,” Chanel Ayan calls it “torturous” and Chrishell Stause knows the show “has something sadistic up [its] sleeves.”
Cumming, 59, teases “murder, treachery, secrets and lies,” as the contestants will “all stop at nothing for the ultimate prize.”
“Tensions are getting high and I can feel my blood pressure rising,” Survivor‘s Jeremy Collins admits.
Vanderpump Rules‘ Tom Sandoval, meanwhile, seems focused mostly on how the show might act as rehab for his reputation. “Finally people are taking me seriously,” he says in a confessional.
Aside from the show’s challenges, there’s also going to be plenty of drama inside the castle. Gabby Windey warns one of her housemates, “If you carry on with that cocky attitude, you might get yourself in trouble,” and Wells Adams wonders, “What game is everyone else playing right now?”
Season 3 of The Traitors returns to the ancient castle deep in the Scottish Highlands as the group of 21 famous faces “work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000.”
The twist lies in the group of Traitors, who eliminate the Faithful while they’re hunted down themselves. If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor — or more than one — makes it to the end, they steal the whole prize.
The Biggest Loser‘s Bob Harper, Big Brother‘s Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes, RHONJ‘s Dolores Catania and Nikki Garcia also compete in season 3, along with RHOP‘s Robyn Dixon, Sam Asghari and Survivor‘s Tony Vlachos.
The Traitors season 3 premieres Thursday, Jan. 9 on Peacock.
