Kyle’s RHOBH Future: Hints After a Tumultuous Season 14

Kyle Richards is contemplating her future on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”!

The 56-year-old reality star mentioned at an event in Beverly Hills on April 28 that she needs to “make that decision” about returning to the hit Bravo series for season 15, as time is “ticking.”

When asked if she always debates her return following each season, Richards responded, “Yes, and sometimes mid-season.”

“Of course. I mean, it’s very difficult for your life [to be] out there and have the world weighing in on analyzing things and people not knowing the full scope of full details,” she elaborated. “And judging you without being able to explain everything, it’s very difficult.”

“So it depends on what year and what season, whether I can handle it or not,” she added. Richards has been a part of RHOBH since the show’s beginning and hasn’t missed a season.

Season 14 saw Richards navigating her split from her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, with whom she shares three daughters: Portia, 17, Sophia, 25, and Alexia, 28. She is also mom to daughter, Farrah, 36, with her ex, Guraish Aldjufrie.

The actress/producer admitted the emotional toll of the season made it difficult to watch.

“Honestly, I didn’t watch, which I don’t like saying that, because I do like to watch the show, even if — I only watch it once, normally,” she explained. “But I like to watch even if it’s difficult. I like to watch the good end of that, but this season, it was just too challenging for me.”

“What was going on in my personal life, so I just didn’t watch the reunion,” she added. “I want to go back now. I see so many clips on Instagram anyway, but you feel like you see the show. But now I want to go back, now that I’m feeling a little better.”

During the season 14 reunion, which aired earlier this month, Richards defended her decision to keep quiet about her relationship with Morgan Wade, after their friendship fueled rumors of something more.

While explaining why she no longer publicly discusses their relationship, Richards admitted she felt “guilty” for bringing the musician into the spotlight, claiming that the attention has caused her “anxiety, and she doesn’t want to be a part of that.”

When host Andy Cohen pointed out that Wade was a country music artist who “has music out and performs publicly,” Richards explained that the attention she’s received from Bravo fans is a “very different vibe.”

He also confronted the Bravo star about appearing in Wade’s music video for her song “Fall in Love with Me,” in which the two portrayed neighbors who fall in love, despite asking the public to stop speculating about their relationship. In the video, the pair can be seen feeding each other fruit, taking bubble baths together, and nearly kissing before the cameras cut to black.

“I do just want to point out, putting out a music video that is like the two of you as lovers,” Cohen said. “It contributed so mightily to a conversation that was already a runaway train, and that was totally in her hands, I have to say.”

“It’s like, at some point, you can’t have your cake and eat it too,” the reunion host added. “I mean, sorry.”

Rumors of Richards’ romance with Wade came shortly after the former announced her split from Umansky. The two first became friends after connecting on social media, and since then, they’ve spent a lot of time together, from joint workouts to vacations with other Housewives stars. In a season 13 episode of RHOBH, Richards permanently commemorated their relationship by tattooing her first initial onto Wade.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is available to stream on Peacock.
