Taylor Swift Rocks $5K Versace Suit and French Twist to Support Travis Kelce in Boss Style at Chiefs-Broncos
Taylor Swift is continuing to support the Chiefs in “Style.”
On Sunday, Nov. 10, the 34-year-old pop superstar stepped out at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce as she sported her latest WAG style — a tailored look featuring a Versace tweed red-and-black windowpane blazer ($3,350) and matching miniskirt ($1,695) paired with a black corset and a Versace black bag and knee-high Versace black boots.
The “Fortnight” singer rocked a French twist and her signature red lip for Sunday’s early game, which kicked off at 1 p.m. ET.
Swift was accompanied by her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, in the pregame walk-up.
It’s been a big NFL season for Swift’s gameday looks, as just last Monday night, the superstar showed off a headline-making black leather vintage-style varsity jacket that apparently was sold on eBay just two months before.
During Kansas City’s Nov. 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Swift wore her red-and-gold bomber jacket with a black top, black Agolde shorts and $2,195 thigh-high Christian Louboutin Santia Botta boots. Not long after, the woman who sold the item on eBay, TikTok user @courttokslol, revealed that she parted ways with the piece in August and added it was “definitely cool to see how many months are going into the planning of each of these outfits that she’s wearing.”
“It’s definitely a rare jacket, so, like, that’s why we even noticed in the first place that she was wearing it, because I think ours was the only one on eBay at the time when we listed it,” she said. “So, it makes sense that if Taylor and her stylist had their eye on this particular piece, they bought it from us. It’s so crazy, and crazy to know they’re looking at these resale sites and awesome that they’re reusing old, vintage pieces.”
Swift’s Chiefs look over the last year have included a custom puffer jacket, a vintage ’90s sweatshirt, an oversized ’90s tee worn as a dress and other old-school Kansas City fan gear.
Fashion writer Sarah Chapelle, the person behind the viral Taylor Swift Style blog, spoke with PEOPLE back in October about the musician’s game-day attire, calling it “a really fun new genre of her fashion in that it’s fashion that isn’t centered or about her.”
While Swift has been known to drop Easter eggs in her outfits on occasion, Chapelle said she doesn’t “interpret her Chiefs fashion as personal Easter eggs.”
“I try to look at it through the lens of being a joyful supporter, being in a joyful supporting role,” Chapelle said. “I love the playbook that she’s developed for her Chiefs uniform, so to speak. It’s a uniform of its own.”
