Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino Caught Together in Los Angeles Amid Wedding Cancellation Buzz

Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino are spending time together following the cancellation of their wedding plans.

Sweeney, 27, and Davino, 41, were spotted at Beverly Glen Deli on Sunday, April 6, where the casually dressed pair enjoyed each other’s company for approximately an hour before departing together, as per an insider.

Both wore shades while taking Sweeney’s dog Tank for a walk, with Davino dressed in all black athletic wear, while Sweeney opted for a blue hoodie and loose-fitting jeans.

Following news that they had been living apart, a source informed a publication on Monday, March 31, that Sweeney has been concentrating on her career in light of her engagement ending.

“She’s precisely where she wants to be. Most individuals would feel overburdened by her busy schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s wholly committed to working right now and is quite enthusiastic about all her projects,” the insider mentioned regarding Sweeney.

The Anyone But You star is involved in a new season of Euphoria and is set to lead a film adaptation of the bestselling novel The Housemaid, as well as portray the real-life boxer Christy Martin and screen legend Kim Novak in upcoming ventures.

The insider further shared, “What did cause her concern, however, was her relationship and the impending wedding. She felt uneasy about it.”

Sweeney is “in the midst of this extraordinary career that she could only dream of a few years back,” thus, “This is her main focus at the moment.”

“She’s not ready to settle down,” the source also revealed. “They lasted this long primarily because it was difficult for her to end things. Their separation isn’t due to a lack of affection; it’s because she prefers to prioritize her career right now.”

The actress has been engaged to businessman Davino since 2022 after they were first linked in 2018.

Rumors of a breakup began to circulate after Sweeney removed a picture of her kissing her then-fiancé from a larger Instagram post initially shared on January 2. In February, TMZ reported that the couple had delayed their May wedding date, and an insider disclosed on March 27 that “things had been tumultuous for a while” between them.

Sweeney’s recent social media posts have showcased solo bikini pictures and moments from a girls’ getaway she took with friends. “Only up from here,” she captioned a March 25 post featuring a hot-air balloon ride. Additionally, she recently reunited with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell to attend his sister’s wedding in Texas.

While Sweeney and Powell, 36, played up their chemistry during the promotional tour for the romantic comedy, the Twisters actor’s mother dispelled claims that the two are dating.

Cyndy Powell stated to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, April 1, “They’re definitely not together.”

She further remarked that speculations surrounding their relationship were “absurd,” asserting, “[There is] nothing going on behind closed doors.”
