Sutton Stracke Offers Garcelle Beauvais Space Following Unfollow of Several RHOBH Co-Stars

Sutton Stracke understands that Garcelle Beauvais requires some “space” following her decision to exit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

After Beauvais, 58, unfollowed her RHOBH co-stars on Instagram last week, Stracke, 53, expressed her support for her friend and former castmate.

“Garcelle has chosen to unfollow all of the Housewives,” Stracke stated in a remark to Page Six. “I can only imagine that she needs a clean break right now. I love her and am giving her the space she needs.”

“I know that she is going to move through this next chapter with grace and success,” she added.

Stracke’s remarks came after Beauvais unfollowed her, as well as former co-stars Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, and Bozoma Saint John. However, she remains a follower of Stracke’s event company, The Sutton Concept Events, along with co-stars Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly.

Last month, Beauvais announced her departure from RHOBH in an unexpected video shared on Instagram after five seasons.

“I have some news: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Beauvais said. “It’s been a wild ride; some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also occurred — but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”

As she elaborated on her reasons for leaving the Bravo series, she mentioned, “One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys. Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that… Secondly, I have some exciting projects developing, producing, and acting in — I can’t disclose anything now, but you’ll know soon.”

Despite her exit, she hinted, “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime; the door will always be open, so you never know, I might pop back in sometime.”

As season 14 of RHOBH concluded, Beauvais had become estranged from her co-stars, notably declining to participate in the cast photo during the reunion.

“I’m out,” Beauvais said as she shook her head before departing. “I’m not. I’m not.”

“Guys, I’m not doing this anymore. I don’t want cameras here,” she informed production as she began to change out of her reunion attire. “And I never say I don’t want cameras. I’m always a team player. But this — there’s no team.”

She expressed her feelings about not being acknowledged by her co-stars regarding her efforts to mend their friendships, stating, “Everybody jumped at me, and I felt like I was on an island by myself. I can’t be friends with people like that; I can’t trust them. I don’t trust them, and they obviously don’t like me.”

As she left, she remarked, “I’m done. It’s been an amazing ride, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity, but I’m done.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available for streaming on Peacock.
