Garcelle Beauvais Cuts Ties with RHOBH Costars, Including Close Friend Sutton Stracke, Just Weeks After Exit Announcement

Garcelle Beauvais is ready for a fresh start after her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Less than a month after announcing her departure from the hit Bravo series, Beauvais, 58, has unfollowed her former RHOBH co-stars on Instagram.
The actress is no longer following her friend Sutton Stracke, along with other former castmates including Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, and Bozoma Saint John.
However, she continues to follow the Instagram pages for Stracke’s namesake store and her event company. Additionally, she remains connected to former co-stars Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly.
Meanwhile, Stracke, Richards, Kemsley, and Saint John are still following Beauvais, though Girardi has chosen to unfollow her.
This change comes on the heels of Beauvais confirming her exit from the series in a surprising announcement on March 25, after five seasons with RHOBH.
“I have some news: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Beauvais stated in a video posted to her Instagram account. “It’s been a wild ride; some amazing things have happened, as well as some challenging moments — but it’s been a ride nonetheless.”
She elaborated that her decision to leave was motivated by a desire to focus on her family and explore new projects, saying, “One reason I’m leaving is my family, my boys. Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that. Additionally, I have exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in — I can’t share details now, but you’ll know soon.”
After expressing her gratitude towards the show’s team, she hinted, “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime; the door will always be open, so you never know — I might pop back in at some point.”
Beauvais’ time on RHOBH culminated with the final installment of the season 14 reunion on April 15. During that special, she felt ostracized by the other Housewives for opting out of the cast photo.
“I’m out,” Garcelle remarked while shaking her head before her exit. “I’m not. I’m not.”
As she began changing out of her reunion dress, she informed production, “Guys, I’m not doing this anymore. I don’t want cameras here. I’ve always been a team player, but this — there’s no team.”
Expressing her feelings of isolation and a lack of support from the other Housewives, she added, “Everybody jumped at me, and I felt like I was on an island by myself. I can’t be friends with people like that; I can’t trust them. They obviously don’t like me.”
In her final remarks, she concluded, “I’m done. It’s been an amazing ride; I’m so grateful for the opportunity, but I’m done.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available to stream on Peacock.
