As his first studio project Cigarettes in Bed prepares for its January 2024 launch, emerging artist Indio revealed to PEOPLE how childhood musical influences shaped his journey. The performer credited his famous father Robert for fueling his passion for melody during formative years.

“My father actively nurtured my interest in instruments from childhood,” Indio recalled, noting he received his initial guitar at age twelve. “He’s a vocalist with his own recorded work that I frequently enjoy,” he continued. “Growing up surrounded by artistic expression gave me incredible opportunities to cultivate my abilities.”

Meanwhile, Robert prepares for his cinematic transformation into antagonist Doctor Doom, transitioning from his iconic Iron Man role. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo discussed the actor’s intense preparation during a March 4 chat with Entertainment Tonight, emphasizing his commitment to the Avengers: Doomsday project.

“Character development involves meticulous dedication,” Joe explained. “He’s completely absorbed in crafting this persona – fully concentrated on every detail.”

The filmmakers revealed Robert’s unprecedented involvement extends to conceptualizing wardrobe elements and crafting elaborate backstories. “Complex, multifaceted personalities clearly fascinate him,” Joe added. “This antagonist role presents exciting opportunities for layered storytelling.”
