Pamela Anderson Debuts Bangs Alongside Makeup-Free Moment at Screening of The Last Showgirl
Pamela Anderson is switching up her signature look.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, the actress and activist, 57, debuted bangs for a screening of her new film The Last Showgirl in West Hollywood. The new addition is a fresh take on Anderson’s trademark blonde locks, which she’s been rocking since her Baywatch days.
Anderson walked the red carpet in a structured brown cashmere Bottega Veneta dress (a nod to Pantone’s color of the year, perhaps?) with a cape-like silhouette and subtle boning. She teamed the look with Bottega Veneta’s $1,150 Canalazzo pumps and posed with fellow cast members of the Gia Coppola-directed flick, Kiernan Shipka and Brenda Song.
The star also continued the makeup-free streak that she first kicked off during on Paris Fashion Week in 2023.
At the 2024 Gotham Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday, Dec 2 — where she was nominated for her role in The Last Showgirl — Anderson spoke to PEOPLE exclusively about her beauty philosophy and what it was like wearing makeup for the film.
“I mean — I wear — I love to wear makeup too sometimes,” she said. “It has a time and a place. I just feel in my personal life, it just didn’t really make sense.”
When asked about what beauty means to her, the star shared: “Being brave and living your dreams. It’s never too late.
On the red carpet, Anderson looked elegant in a butter yellow Oscar de la Renta gown with a large bow in the back. She kept her accessories simple with diamond studs and wore her her long and loose. Of course, she also went makeup-free.
On Monday, Dec. 9, it was announced that Anderson has received a Golden Globe nod for her work in The Last Showgirl. She’s nominated for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture (drama) alongside Angelina Jolie in Maria, Nicole Kidman in Babygirl, Tilda Swinton in The Room Next Door, Fernanda Torres in I’m Still Here and Kate Winslet in Lee.
The 82nd annual Golden Globes, hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, airs live Sunday, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.
