Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde were seen together in Los Angeles, appearing amicable almost two years after resolving their custody agreement.

The Ted Lasso actor, 49, and Don’t Worry Darling filmmaker, 41, shared an embrace while accompanying their children to a park on Saturday, April 6.

Former partners exchanged smiles and conversation as their 10-year-old son Otis and 8-year-old daughter Daisy played nearby, eventually departing separately.

The pair initially connected at a 2011 Saturday Night Live season finale celebration, becoming engaged the subsequent year. They welcomed Otis in April 2014 and Daisy in October 2016 before ending their seven-year engagement in 2020.

Following their November 2020 separation announcement and Wilde’s subsequent high-profile romance with Harry Styles, an insider revealed to PEOPLE that the exes prioritized co-parenting.

“They’ve established harmonious co-existence, smoothly transitioning into shared parenting responsibilities. Their children remain the central focus,” the source explained.

While maintaining civil relations post-breakup, the former couple generated controversy in April 2022 when Sudeikis delivered custody documents to Wilde during her CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas.

Wilde later stated in court filings obtained by the Daily Mail that the service method felt “deliberately confrontational” and “designed to intimidate through unexpected confrontation.”

Later that year, a confidant told PEOPLE Wilde aimed to “concentrate on the children’s wellbeing above all,” adding: “Communication occurs through intermediaries since direct dialogue remains challenging.”

March 2023 legal documents revealed ongoing disputes regarding relocation preferences for Otis and Daisy, with Wilde’s team alleging Sudeikis sought to “financially overwhelm her through prolonged litigation.”

Their legal battle concluded in September 2023 with Sudeikis mandated to provide $27,500 monthly child support. A source disclosed to PEOPLE in October 2023 that both parents now successfully co-exist in Los Angeles.
