Noah Cyrus Makes Us Do a Double Take as She Looks Just Like Sister Miley with Blonde Hair

Noah Cyrus’ new look will have you seeing double!

On Thursday, Sept. 5, Noah took a page out of sister Miley’s style book. The 24-year-old singer and actress stepped out to perform at New York City’s So & So’s Piano Bar with a drastically different look than her usual dark locks.

Noah swapped her previously black hair for a shoulder-grazing blonde style with short bangs and plenty of bouncy curls, channeling not only her big sister, but also classic Hollywood stars like Marilyn Monroe. She also sported a glam smoky eye and nude lip color.

The singer kept her outfit simple with a figure-hugging strapless brown dress, showing off her smattering of arm tattoos.

The hairstyle is reminiscent of Miley’s signature look — specifically, the style she wore to the 2024 Grammys. At the time, the 31-year-old’s longtime hairstylist Bob Recine told PEOPLE that they “wanted to create [something] different than last year, with a style that felt like it had a ’70s, Barbarella feel while still having a modern, punk edge.”

He continued, “By creating a big hair look, while still leaving some of the teasing visible, it allows the look to maintain a fresh, sexy feeling.

Recine also told Byrdie that the teased-up look was inspired by ’70s icon Raquel Welch.

At the awards show, Miley not only pulled off a whopping five different outfit changes — she also won her first two Grammy awards and performed her hit song “Flowers.”

The distinctly Miley vibe of Noah’s look was not lost on fans. In the comment section of an Instagram video captured by PEOPLE from the singer’s performance at So & So’s, users were quick to call out the similarities.

“I thought it was Miley for a minute!!!!” one wrote.

“Is this really Noah ?? Not Miley ?? ❤️🔥🙌👏,” said another.

A third wrote, “Dolly vibes 👏,” referring to Miley’s godmother Dolly Parton, whom the Disney Channel alum has cited as a major influence.
