Tina Knowles is contemplating her daughter Beyoncé’s ‘extraordinary’ romantic journey.

In honor of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 17th anniversary on April 4th, the 71-year-old family matriarch posted a nostalgic video compilation of the pair on Instagram, accompanied by a sincere message.

“Wishing a joyful 17th anniversary to two of my most cherished individuals on earth!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Your devotion and resilience in tuning out distractions truly inspire,” Knowles expressed. “Genuine affection conquers all nonsense. Savor every moment.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

The devoted mother and entrepreneur set the video to Beyoncé’s 2006 track “Still in Love (Kissing You),” featuring verses like, “My closest confidant, my partner. You’re healer, advisor, supporter, teacher, my universe — and I adore you.”

The couple, Beyoncé, 43, and Jay-Z, 55, exchanged vows privately on April 4, 2008, following an eight-year courtship. Their family expanded with Blue Ivy’s birth in 2012, followed by twin siblings Rumi and Sir in 2017.

The music icon’s mother recently discussed her daughter’s parental evolution since marrying in 2008, emphasizing her dedication despite her 35 Grammy accolades.

“Their children perpetually come first in her life amidst any circumstance,” Knowles shared with E! News during Billboard’s 2025 Women in Music event on March 29th.

“Parental figures often work invisibly to uplift their families.
