MGK Clears the Air: What’s in a Name for His Little Princess with Megan Fox?

MGK is clarifying the truth regarding the name of his and Megan Fox’s recently born daughter.

On Monday, March 31, MGK, who was formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, reassured fans that the name of his and Fox’s baby girl is not “Celestial Seed.”

The “Emo Girl” performer, 34, disclosed on Thursday, March 27, that he and his ex-fiancée, 38, have welcomed their daughter. In the original Instagram update, he shared a video of himself together with his newborn daughter.

“She’s finally arrived!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️,” Kelly conveyed in the caption, next to the baby’s date of birth.

Following the birth, MGK (whose actual name is Colson Baker) elaborated in his Instagram Stories on Monday that the newborn’s name has yet to be announced.

“Hold on guys…her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’ 🤣,” he remarked atop a screenshot of a TikTok video summarizing their birth announcement.

“Her mom will tell you the name once we’re ready,” he added.

The day after MGK publicized his newborn’s arrival, he mentioned that he “composed the score of the birth.”

“Born into 432 HZ,” he inscribed over his Instagram Stories on Friday, March 28. “What an incredible journey, praise God 🎹🥁🎵🎸🎺.” The rapper also acknowledged his collaborators for the score, including his friend Travis Barker.

This marks MGK’s second child. He also has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with his ex Emma Cannon.

The actress is also the mother of sons Noah Shannon, 12, Bodhi Ransom, 11, and Journey River, 8, whom she shares with ex-spouse Brian Austin Green.

Fox and MGK became engaged in January 2022. They separated in December 2024, shortly after announcing they were expecting a baby together.

Despite their breakup, Fox and Kelly “are aligned when it comes to co-parenting,” a source previously informed PEOPLE.

“Whatever challenges they face, Megan and MGK are both in agreement regarding co-parenting,” the source stated. “Currently, they are on good terms.”

“However, they are focused on what’s best for their daughter,” the insider concluded.

Another source previously told PEOPLE, “The past few months have been challenging for her,” adding, “She won’t be reconciling with him.”

“It feels magical to her to now have a baby girl as well,” the source stated. “She’s doing wonderfully and is overjoyed about her baby girl.”
