Mariah Carey’s 13-Year-Old Twins Show Reluctance During Star-Studded Easter Egg Hunt

Mariah Carey playfully remarked that her teenage children, Moroccan and Monroe Cannon, were not overly enthusiastic about celebrating Easter with her.
On April 21, the singer shared a series of festive photos on Instagram to commemorate Easter. However, Carey humorously noted that her 13-year-old twins, whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon, seemed less than thrilled about the holiday festivities.
In her caption, she wrote, “The greatest gift of being a mom is getting your teenage kids to participate in your Easter hijinks! 🐰🐣💐.”
She included a photo of the twins next to the Easter bunny and herself, with Moroccan and Monroe appearing somewhat reluctant while posing together. Meanwhile, Carey beamed for the camera while holding a vibrant pink basket.
The proud mother shared another image showcasing the twins as they explored their Easter baskets, revealing the gifts and treats they had received.
Carey also posted additional pictures of herself with the Easter bunny, including a couple where they both peeked out from her front door. Other images captured her interacting with the bunny in her driveway.
In one solo shot, the “Always Be My Baby” artist flaunted her dazzling pink skirt set, fluffy hot pink shoes, a matching Easter basket, and bright pink Gucci sunglasses.
This recent display of reluctance from the twins follows Carey’s unexpected appearance during Moroccan’s Twitch live stream on April 3. He was about ten minutes into gaming with friends when his mother and Monroe entered the room.
During the stream, Moroccan could be heard discussing the situation off-camera before abruptly muting his audio. He returned to inform his audience: “Sorry, chat, my mom is here.”
Moroccan’s fellow gamers greeted the pop icon, stating, “Hey, Mrs. Carey!” as Monroe appeared on screen with a dog.
“You wanna come here, mom?” Moroccan asked the “Fantasy” singer, who leaned into the frame, standing just behind him.
“Okay, y’all need to get out now. Just, everybody get out,” he urged his mother and sister, clearly feeling embarrassed. “Mom, they can see you. They’re saying, ‘Hi Mariah, I love you!’ Oh my God.”
“Hi, you guys!” Carey responded to the audience. “I love you, too.”
“Can y’all please get out, please? Love you. Get out of my room,” he said, immediately regretting having invited them in.
