Maren Morris is on the apps!

On the Wednesday, Sept. 25 episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and Monica Padman, the country star, 34, sat down to unpack her career throughout the years and open up about dating after her recent divorce from Ryan Hurd in January 2024.

“I’m dating again – dating for the first time, truly,” Morris said.

Shepard, 49, then asked if she was on Raya, an exclusive dating app preferred by celebrities for its vetting process and higher barrier of entry. “Yeah, I am,” she replied.

The hosts then asked to look through her profile before the Parenthood alum asked if she’s seen any huge stars that surprised her.

“Yeah, a few times. It’s kind of shocked me,” the Grammy winner confessed. “And it makes me feel better too because there’s such a vulnerability of being like, ‘Here’s the buffet of options today that I’m a part of.’ It made me feel better knowing that this person was on there too.”

While it’s unknown who she saw on the app due to its strict rules regarding screenshots and confidentiality to protect its users, Morris is focused on her healing journey post-divorce.

On Aug. 2, Morris released Intermission, an EP that she described asa break in the act.” She previously announced that she would be departing from the country genre to experiment with pop music. The songs in the EP address her bisexuality — which she revealed back in June — and the split from Hurd, 37.

Morris and Hurd began dating in 2015 and married in May 2018, eventually welcoming their son Hayes, 4, in March 2020. The “My Church” singer filed for divorce in Oct. 2023 and the divorce was finalized in January 2024.

The pair, who co-parent their son, recently reunited to boast about being parents of a “future Federer,” in reference to the little one’s apparent love for tennis and legend Roger Federer.

Last month, Morris opened up to PEOPLE about navigating parenthood post-divorce.

“I think [Hayes has] gone through a lot and there’s I’m sure a lot of confusion because he’s so little,” she said. “But also, I feel like Ryan and I have done a really great job at just being great parents for him.
