On June 17, the 50-year-old posted a heartfelt video on Instagram announcing that she was stepping away from the fitness company after six years.
“I’m jumping on here to unfortunately let you know that I am moving on from Peloton,” she began. “I have had the most incredible past six years. What an amazing adventure, so many wonderful experiences, so much growth. Meeting all of you has been the highlight of my past six years being on the mat with you all.”
“It’s been such an incredible community and I’m going to miss you all so so very much,” she said, holding back tears.
Kristin McGee’s Goodbye from Peloton: McGee stressed that she appreciates the support she’s had over the years and said she made the decision in order to spend time focusing on her family.
“Not a final goodbye,” she said. “Like I always say at the end of my class, please don’t forget that everything you could possibly ever want, have or need is right inside of you. Love y’all so much.”

Kristin McGee’s Goodbye from Peloton: McGee first joined the fitness company in December 2018, becoming one of three instructors that helped launch yoga classes on the platform. Her departure comes just days after Kendall Toole also announced she was leaving the company.
Following the news, a spokesperson for Peloton released a statement leaving the door open for possible returns.
