Kelly Rutherford and Son Hermés Shine Together at Paris Fashion Week: A Memorable Moment!

Kelly Rutherford and her teenage son Hermés Giersch showcased their fashion sense this weekend as they participated in Paris Fashion Week together.
On Saturday, March 8, the mother-son duo was captured enjoying the Elie Saab Womenswear Fall/Winter show at the Palais de Tokyo as part of Paris Fashion Week.
Rutherford, 56, was seen donning a shimmering gold embroidered midi-length gown that included sheer, wide-cut sleeves and gold sequins arranged in a floral motif. The Gossip Girl star complemented her dress with brown shades, white heels, a subtle matte pink lip, and tucked her blonde hair behind her ears.
Hermés, 18, flaunted a traditional white button-down shirt paired with navy blue trousers and navy and white sneakers. He matched his polished appearance with his own sunglasses.
Their outing marks their latest public appearance since attending Couture Fashion Week in Paris in January. This occasion signified one of Rutherford’s first returns to the public eye with her son since her protracted legal dispute with her former spouse, German entrepreneur Daniel Giersch, concluded a decade ago.
At two separate events in January, Rutherford wore a black long-sleeved dress complemented by platform heels and a handbag for the Chanel show, while she donned a floral-print dress for the Rahul Mishra show. Her son opted for a dark suit and a white shirt, teamed with black dress shoes.
Earlier this week, Hermés and his actress mother also visited the TIME Womenswear show, where Rutherford sported a gray, two-piece suit comprising a knee-length skirt, a relaxed blazer cinched with a matching belt at her waist, a brown leather bag, and white pumps. Her son maintained his usual white shirt and navy dress trousers, this time paired with a black jacket and white sneakers for a coordinated look.
Rutherford shares Hermés and daughter Helena, 16, with ex-spouse Daniel. Following their split in 2009, the former couple engaged in a fierce custody battle, during which Rutherford incurred nearly $2 million in legal expenses.
After the public breakup, the mother of two withdrew from the limelight and established Monaco as her permanent residence.
Rutherford revisited the arduous legal struggle during an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE in February 2024, revealing that she is in a much more positive place nearly 15 years after it all began.
“Indeed, it was a difficult period. It was a heart-wrenching time. But I choose to concentrate on the positive most of the time, I truly do,” remarked the Scream 3 actress. “I’m incredibly grateful for where we are. I have a wonderful relationship with my children.”
