Julianne Hough Confirms She’s ‘Single’ and ‘Looking for a Guy’ After Surprise DWTS Performance
Julianne Hough is looking for a new man in her life!
After her surprise performance to “Man In Finance” on the latest episode of Dancing with the Stars, the television personality, 36, revealed that she was looking for romance when her co-host Alfonso Ribeiro gave her props for her routine with pros Sasha Farber, Val Chmerkovskiy and Pasha Pashkov.
“Well, you know, I am single and I’m looking for a guy anywhere I can find one,” Hough joked before Ribeiro quipped that fans can vie for a chance to take her out by texting the same number audiences use to vote for the celebrity contestants.
“If you’d like a date, text Julianne’s first name. Message and data rates may apply,” he cheekily replied, to which Hough laughed as she said, “That won’t work, please don’t do that.”
The former pro’s high-energy performance came after Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold received their second round of judges’ scores for their Tango routine.
“Seeing all these amazing dances and dancers out there all season long reminds me of when I was a pro back in the day. And oh, my gosh, I wish I could just get out there and dance sometimes. In fact, why don’t we do that? Right now. Stephen, can you hold this?” she quipped before handing her microphone to the Olympian and revealing the matching silver fringe pants and bra she was wearing underneath her dress.
Hough’s latest update on her love life comes after she told PEOPLE that she was planning on going with the flow when it comes to dating.
“Honestly, I am just keeping my heart open and kind of just letting the seasons flow and I’m focusing on Dancing With The Stars,” she explained in an October interview. “But my heart is open, I’m ready for it, but I’m not actively looking for anything.”
While dating was “definitely not at the top” of her list, Hough said her desire for romance was still “there.” But in the meantime, she admitted she was more focused on personal growth.
“For me, I just feel like it’s just part of my life,” she continued. “It’s not like it’s ever a destination. It’s just always going to be a part of my life. I really enjoy going on retreats and connecting and it’s just a part of my life.”
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Hulu and Disney+.
