During Thursday’s CinemaCon presentation, Jeremy Allen White previewed scenes from the biographical drama alongside co-star Jeremy Strong. The 34-year-old actor showcased musical performances featuring snippets of Springsteen’s iconic tracks while Strong delivered narration as producer Jon Landau.

The Emmy-winning actor described the role as “an extraordinary challenge and lifelong aspiration,” emphasizing the film’s focus on Springsteen’s internal conflicts during career-defining moments. Strong characterized Landau’s partnership with the musician as resembling “historic creative alliances.”

This cinematic adaptation explores Springsteen’s creative process during the making of his seminal 1982 album Nebraska, drawing from Warren Zanes’ acclaimed biography. White embarked on vocal preparation after securing the role in 2024, receiving personal encouragement from Springsteen throughout production.

Stephen Graham revealed poignant correspondence with Springsteen following his portrayal of the musician’s father, sharing: “He messaged that witnessing my performance felt like reuniting with his late parent – the most moving professional acknowledgment I’ve received.”
