Inside the Romance: How Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley Found Love Together

It’s now confirmed: Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are in a relationship!

The romance between the two stars ignited speculation when they posted a photo on Instagram of themselves kissing while celebrating Easter on April 20. A source close to Cyrus has confirmed their budding relationship.

According to the source, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer and Hurley have a long-standing friendship that dates back to their collaboration on the set of the 2022 film Christmas in Paradise, which was filmed on the Caribbean island of Nevis.

“Liz is fantastic and visited him for Easter. They’ve been seeing each other romantically for a while,” the source shared. “And how lucky is he? Liz is lovely, very warm, positive, and a joy to be around.”

The source further noted that Cyrus thoroughly enjoyed working with Hurley during filming: “They had a wonderful time shooting that movie together — it was beautiful and relaxed, leaving a lasting impression on him.”

Representatives for both Cyrus and Hurley declined to comment.

In the Instagram photo shared on April 20, Cyrus, sporting bunny ears, is seen kissing Hurley on the cheek as they lean against a picket fence. “Happy Easter ♥️,” she captioned the picture.

A few celebrities commented on the post, including Hurley’s son, Damian, who simply wrote: “🥳♥️.”

Previously, Hurley hinted at her connection to Cyrus when she used his song “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” in an April 9 Instagram post, tagging him in a photo of herself in a bikini.

“The most glorious sunset in the glorious Maldives 💗,” she wrote in the caption.

Both Hurley and Cyrus have recently navigated personal transitions following separations from their spouses.

Billy Ray was married to Tish Cyrus for 28 years before they parted ways in April 2022. They share five children: daughters Miley, Noah, and Brandi, along with sons Trace and Braison. Furthermore, Billy Ray has a son, Christopher Cody, from his earlier relationship with Kristen Luckey.

Shortly after his separation, Billy Ray began dating Australian singer Firerose around August 2022. They sparked engagement rumors when she shared a photo of herself wearing a diamond ring in September 2022, following a proposal from Billy Ray the month prior.

The couple married in October 2023, but after just seven months, Billy Ray quietly filed for divorce in May 2024.

Hurley was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011.
