Inside the Booko Family: How Their Three-Year-Old is Shaping Baby Name Choices for Nia and Daniel in the Valley

Nia Sanchez and Daniel Booko are currently in the midst of choosing baby names for their child expected to arrive in June.

The couple, aged 35 and 41, is eagerly preparing for the arrival of their fourth child. However, they have yet to finalize a name for their newest family member.

“With just over two months to go, we’re still without a name,” Sanchez shared during the season 2 premiere of their Bravo reality show on April 10. “We typically prefer to choose names as early as possible.”

The former Miss USA added, “It’s a bit stressful not having a name yet.”

The reality stars are already parents to twins Isabelle and Zariah, who are 22 months old, and their son Asher, who is 3½.

Booko acknowledges that time is running out, calling this the longest they’ve ever taken to decide on a name. Fortunately, he says, “We’ve narrowed it down to probably three to five options.”

He also mentioned that their eldest child has been actively suggesting names for his baby sister.

“Asher’s suggestion is ‘Little Dolly,’ and he’s sticking with it,” the proud father shared.

Booko asks his son daily for ideas regarding the unborn girl’s name, but Asher consistently replies “No,” except for “Little Dolly,” which the parents believe might end up as a nickname.

“It’s quite amusing because with the first pregnancy and then the second, you realize, ‘Oh, I’ve forgotten you’re pregnant,'” Booko said. “With three kids, life is moving so quickly, and then it hits you: ‘Oh my gosh. We still don’t have a name.’ We’re trying to take a step back and ensure we tackle these important matters.”

Sanchez notes that her fourth pregnancy has been a completely different experience.

“This pregnancy has brought me a sense of peace, unlike my first, which was brand new, and the second, which had its fair share of ups and downs,” the model noted. “We experienced some really scary moments with the twins, not knowing if they would make it or not.”

In March 2023, the couple disclosed that their twins had been diagnosed with TAPS.

“Twin Anemia Polycythemia Sequence,” Sanchez explained, detailing this condition in which “blood flows unequally between twins sharing a placenta, causing one fetus to receive more red blood cells than the other,” according to medical guidelines.

Speaking recently, Sanchez mentioned that their fourth pregnancy “has been healthy.”

“Overall, it’s been a happy experience. Sure, morning sickness is a part of it, but I feel very much at peace during this pregnancy.”
