Having spent the last decade living in city apartments, I’ve become quite adept at identifying furniture that maximizes space in small, narrow, or otherwise challenging areas. I firmly believe in having a designated spot to drop essentials like shoes, keys, purses, and mail the moment I walk in the door, so I’m constantly searching for entryway tables that seamlessly blend style and functionality.
The most recent piece that caught my attention is a console table that’s both compact and offers ample storage.
This particular table boasts a natural wood finish, featuring three shelves and a two-door cabinet. The bottom shelf is perfect for shoe storage, but it also seems deep enough to accommodate a small basket for frequently used items like a dog leash.
While ideal for an entryway, this piece would also be useful in a kitchen or dining room for storing dinnerware, glassware, and small appliances. At 48 inches wide and 17 inches deep, the storage table is perfectly sized for any room where additional storage is needed but space is limited.
