Gleb Savchenko Reveals Shocking Breakup News with Brooks Nader: Discovered Her Decision Online and Left in the Dark

Gleb Savchenko is commenting on his rumored breakup from Brooks Nader.

Just hours after reports surfaced that the former Dancing with the Stars partners had concluded their relationship over the weekend, Savchenko, 41, is providing a different perspective on the situation.

In a statement acquired on Monday, April 7, Savchenko asserted that he was taken aback by the 28-year-old model, expressing disbelief upon discovering through the news that “Brooks has ended our relationship.”

“The last message I received from her was a text on April 6th, requesting a conversation. I called her today in reply, but she hasn’t responded,” he stated.

“The final time I saw Brooks was during my visit to New York to support her and film an episode of her reality series on March 31st and April 1st. She was upset to see me leave, but I had to go back to DWTS to complete my four-month tour at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood,” he added. “I’m still coming to terms with everything, and while I don’t have all the explanations, I wish Brooks the best in her future endeavors.”

Efforts to reach out to Nader’s representative for a statement are underway.

Earlier that day, a source mentioned that Nader had called off their relationship after learning of Savchenko’s alleged cheating. The pair had been in a relationship since September 2024, when they met during season 33 of DWTS, though this was not the first occasion they had ended things.

In October, shortly after their competition elimination, Savchenko and Nader parted ways. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model later revealed that he had sent her a vague text message to break things off, but they reconciled shortly thereafter.

“He was dealing with some issues, and then he said, ‘Picked up my belongings. I’m heading to Joshua Tree tomorrow for a few nights. We should have a chat but I think I’m done,’” Nader recounted during a TikTok live session in November, referencing her conversation with Savchenko. “‘I care for you. I think you’re an incredible person. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you.’ That was on October 23.”

“I never replied,” she continued. “Then, on October 25, he texted, ‘I miss you.’ The next day, ‘I’m truly sorry. I want to talk with you. I genuinely miss you.’ Then, of course, we exchanged a few messages.”

Highlighting that “there was an immediate spark,” Nader indicated that they were both “taking things one day at a time” amidst recent changes in their relationship. (In December 2023, she and her spouse of four years, Billy Haire, separated, and in April 2024, Savchenko ended his relationship with his model girlfriend, Elena Belle, after nearly three years.)

“He’s wonderful and so unique,” Nader expressed in a February interview. “I had no intention — when I initially joined Dancing With the Stars — of finding myself in this position in February still seeing him, but here we are.”

“Life is so strangely amusing,” she acknowledged. “It felt a bit like fate, a serendipity situation that we met when we did, both being newly divorced and everything—it was surreal. He’s such an extraordinary person, so I consider myself fortunate to know him. I guess he’s luckier, just kidding, [but] he knows it for sure.”
