Gilmore Girls Stars Lauren Graham and Yanic Truesdale Reunite for a Stars Hollow Holiday: ‘Always a Treat’
Lauren Graham and Yanic Truesdale are together again!
On Monday, Dec. 23, the Gilmore Girls alums reunited just in time for the holidays in a post shared to Truesdale’s Instagram account. The two were seen smiling ear-to-ear as they posed for a selfie with a decorated Christmas tree in the background.
Graham, 57, wore her hair back in a ponytail and accessorized her look with gold hoop earrings and a layered pearl necklace. Truesdale, 54, wore a tan corduroy jacket over a black shirt.
“We don’t get to see each other often enough @laurengraham but when we do it’s always a treat,” he captioned the post. “Hoping you get to see your loved ones this week. Happy holidays ❤️.”
From 2000 to 2007, Graham and Truesdale took on the roles of Lorelai Gilmore and Michel Gerard respectively. Michael was the concierge at Lorelai’s Stars Hallow inn. They later reprised their iconic roles in Netflix’s revival series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life in 2016.
The duo’s get together followed Graham’s recent reunion with Kelly Bishop, 80, who played her onscreen old-money mother Emily Gilmore. On Sept. 17, Graham moderated a panel promoting Bishop’s new memoir The Third Gilmore Girl.
In a TikTok posted by 92NY, Graham and Bishop were seen backstage sharing a hug before the event began. Graham was also seen waiting in the wings before she was announced as a surprise guest.
“I feel so happy and proud,” Graham told fans onstage. “This book is just incredible, you are just incredible. Any excuse to see you — but to be here together is just something I would never miss.”
“Every day, I’m so lucky I get to be your pretend daughter,” she continued before embracing Bishop again in another TikTok.
Gilmore Girls is available to stream on Netflix and Hulu.
