FKA Twigs Faces Heartbreak as She Withdraws from Coachella Just Days Before the Festival Due to Visa Troubles

FKA twigs will not be performing at Coachella this year due to persistent visa complications.

In an Instagram message posted on Friday, April 4, the “Childlike Things” artist expressed her dismay at not being able to take the stage at the California music festival on April 11 and April 18 after delaying her North American Eusexua tour appearances.

“I’m devastated to announce that due to ongoing visa complications I am unable to fulfill any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of April across North America, including Ceremonia and Coachella,” twigs, 37, stated in her post, accompanied by photos and a video from the tour.

“It pains me to declare this because I am so eager to present a creation that I have invested my soul into, and I believe it is among my finest work. I understand this news affects so many of you who have already made arrangements and spent money to attend these concerts.”

The artist mentioned she is striving to reschedule the performances impacted by the visa issues, encouraging attendees to check with their point of purchase for rescheduling and refund details.

“Back to you all with further updates as soon as I receive them — in the meantime, here are some of my favorite segments of the show that we worked so diligently to create ❤️,” twigs concluded.

She initiated her tour promoting the 2025 album Eusexua in March, launching her series of performances in Paris.

This announcement comes less than two weeks after the artist, whose birth name is Tahliah Barnett, disclosed that she had to reschedule additional performances in North America, including gigs in Chicago, New York, and Toronto.

In a TikTok clip dated March 26, twigs disclosed that she was “informed that production did not complete the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to secure our visas to enter the U.S.A. and perform.”

“For those of you who are curious about why I have to withdraw from Toronto since it’s not part of the United States, it’s due to routing and the intricate nature of touring,” she added.

“I don’t take this lightly. I’m utterly devastated, to be candid with you. Completely heartbroken. All I wish to do is be there with you and bring Eusexua to you.”

Her New York dates are now set for April 23 and 24, and twigs will perform in Chicago on June 24 and 25. New dates for Toronto have yet to be revealed.
