“Exclusive: American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe Continues Supporting Late Frank Fritz’s Family Six Months After His Passing”

The TV star acknowledged recent times have been “challenging” for all since Fritz’s passing.

“Frank maintained an intimate social circle. From youth, he understood quality over quantity in friendships – preferring three trusted companions over dozens of casual connections,” he revealed. “While widely recognized, he fiercely protected his inner circle and demonstrated unwavering loyalty.”

“Everyone’s currently taking space to process their grief privately,” he concluded.

Wolfe first announced Fritz’s September 2024 passing through an Instagram tribute. Subsequent reports from TMZ indicated the former reality star succumbed to complications from cerebral vascular disease-induced stroke.

Medical documentation revealed Fritz battled aortic stenosis, a cardiovascular condition impairing blood circulation. Both this ailment and cerebral vascular disease were listed as comorbid factors in his passing.

Speaking to PEOPLE weeks later, Wolfe detailed their farewell moments. Alongside Fritz during his final breath were Wolfe himself, his mother, and Annette – a close friend of Fritz’s deceased mother.

“After receiving word of his declining state, I’m grateful I reached him in time,” Wolfe shared emotionally. “During our last hour together, I cradled his hand and soothed his chest until his final moment. It fell to me to gently close his eyes.”

“My parting words reassured him of my enduring affection and absence of resentment,” Wolfe continued. “When his breathing grew labored, I urged: ‘Reunite with your mother now. Go find her immediately.'”
