DWTS’ Ezra Sosa Calls Out Jenn Tran’s Ex Devin Strader Over Him Shading Sasha Farber amid Dating Rumors

Ezra Sosa has entered the chat.

Sosa chimed in on a conversation Jenn Tran’s ex Devin Strader started regarding her former Dancing with the Stars partner Sasha Farber. In the comments of a photo dump from Nov. 9, Strader argued with a fan who wrote, “Jenn found a great guy his name is sasha.”

“That’s a girls [sic] name,” Strader replied.

Sosa then left a comment defending his fellow DWTS pro, saying, “I know about 5 Devin’s ALL in which are women 🤷”

The clapback garnered over 550 likes, with users commending Sosa for standing up for Tran and Farber. 

Strader quickly addressed Sosa’s comment, writing, “wow — here’s your ✨gold star ✨ 👆🫵 ⭐”

Farber and Tran first sparked romance rumors when fans saw their natural chemistry and banter on DWTS. When they were eliminated, they continued to spend time with one another, documenting weekend trips and red carpet appearances together.

In a sweet TikTok posted shortly after the elimination, where Tran showed herself knocking on Farber’s door, members of the DWTS family popped into the comments to support the two.

Derek Hough, who serves as a judge on season 33 of the ABC dance competition, wrote: “I give this a 100 🙂 happy for you two ❤️”

Sosa left two comments, including “this is so cute 🥹” and “i ship it.”

Tran and Strader had a messy breakup after getting engaged at the end of season 21 of The Bachelorette. During the After the Final Rose special, she revealed that the relationship ended with a short phone call after a long period of not hearing from Strader.

“As soon as we had left Hawai’i, things were just different,” she said. “It kind of just felt like he was pulling away all the promises that he had made to me — wanting to move somewhere together, and wanting to have this future planned out, and wanting to see each other all the time.”

Tran said she felt like she was being “ghosted” by her fiancé at the time.

“He called me, and he basically broke off the engagement,” she said. “[He said] he didn’t love me anymore, feel the same way and felt like something had been off since the second thing he proposed. He regretted getting engaged.”

Later in the episode, Tran confronted Strader, and he claimed his feelings for her had simply faded. 

“Obviously I failed you,” he said. “And there’s nothing I can say other than that. But, everything I felt for you was real.”

Tran opened up to PEOPLE in September after she and Strader came face-to-face for the first time following their split.

“I had no idea what was going to happen, and in the moment I was just thinking about the things that were important to me,” she said. “And what was important to me was the fact that he disrespected our entire relationship after the fact.”

“Like I said, I can sit here and try to understand why someone would change their mind after saying all those crazy, crazy proclamations of love, but to also then sit here and disrespect the entire relationship by doing things that you know are going to hurt me, and by doing things that are just disrespectful to me, is next level of crazy,” she added.
