Céline Dion’s Love for Sunday Night Football Is ‘All Coming Back’ to Her in New NFL Promo: ‘It Kind of Fits, No?’

Céline Dion is making her football fandom well-known.

On Sunday, Oct. 6, Dion, 56, appeared in a new NFL video promoting Sunday Night‘s football game of the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers — and made a playful reference to one of her biggest songs.

The clip, which was posted on X (formerly Twitter) and titled “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” after the singer’s 1996 hit, begins with a shot of a recording studio and then a grand piano, followed by Dion’s voice as she discusses the powerful connection of football.

She then appears standing in the same recording studio as she says to the camera, “Sometimes, some nights, it all just comes back… the love affair. Well, maybe night love the way I usually sing about it. But still, you know, work with me here! I mean, ‘When you touch me like this, when you hold me like that’ — it kind of fits, no?”

Throwback clips of football games then play along with Dion’s song as she continues, “But really what beautiful passion it produced. What painful heartbreak it revealed … so so long ago. Like so many old flames, it always feels right when they’re back together — don’t you think?”

“Like tonight, evoking the kind of magic they once produced. The Cowboys and the Steelers. A timeless classic on Sunday Night,” she concludes.

The final shot in the promo video shows the Canadian singer being drenched with buckets of what appears to be Gatorade, reenacting the tradition carried out by winning NFL teams over the years.

Dion’s NFL video feature comes after her performance at another iconic sporting event — the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The music legend performed “Hymne A L’Amour” by French artist Édith Piaf onstage at the base of the Eiffel Tower on July 26, marking a surprise return and her first performance since announcing her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome in December 2022.

Following her stunning performance, Dion posted behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram of her prepping for the Olympics on Aug. 16, which included her changing into her dazzling opening ceremony dress, and embracing her son René-Charles Angélil, shared with her late husband René Angélil, before heading to the stage.
