Meet Bryce Harper’s Growing Family: A Closer Look at Krew, Brooklyn, Kamryn, and Exciting News of Baby No. 4!

Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper is one of Major League Baseball’s most recognizable figures, but Harper’s most significant role is as a dad to three children — Krew, Brooklyn, and Kamryn.
Harper and his wife, Kayla, welcomed their first child in 2019, soon followed by their second in 2020. Their third child arrived in 2024.
“[My kids are] the light of my life, man. They make me happy every day. They thrill me every day,” Harper expressed during a 2023 ESPN broadcast. “People don’t understand, you get taken away from them a lot. Knowing professional sports, you’re always on the road, always traveling. You miss their first steps, you miss the way they talk. I’m missing them right now.”
In April 2025, Harper announced that his family is expanding once again. During a home game against the San Francisco Giants, he revealed that he and Kayla are expecting a baby boy, using a custom baby-blue bat for the announcement.
With the crowd watching, Harper took the bat from teammate Trea Turner, stepped into the box, and delivered the exciting news with a powerful swing.
Here’s everything to know about Bryce Harper’s three children: Krew, Brooklyn, and Kamryn.
Krew Aron Harper, 5
Bryce and Kayla welcomed their first child, Krew Aron, on August 22, 2019. He shares his middle name with his father.
To celebrate Krew’s first birthday, the Harpers hosted a festive The Incredibles-themed party, complete with capes and superhero decorations. In a cherished photo of Krew in costume, Bryce noted how his love for Krew grows each day.
“The one thing I will miss about year one is the cuddles, which he has kinda outgrown already,” he reflected. “I miss that the most. I still get it sometimes, but I wish it was more. Year one was filled with so much, and I look forward to so many more moments. We love you so much, little dude!”
Krew is already showcasing signs of following in his dad’s footsteps: In a video at the ballpark, he confidently hit a baseball off a tee, sending it flying into the stands. As his parents cheered from the background, Bryce exclaimed, “That’s a homer, dude! Go!”
Krew is frequently seen enjoying family outings, including trips to the zoo and pumpkin patch in September 2024.
Brooklyn Elizabeth Harper, 4
Harper and Kayla expanded their family with the arrival of their daughter, Brooklyn Elizabeth, in November 2020.
The couple shared their joyful news on social media, posting a sweet snapshot of their first moments together. Brooklyn’s birth came just over a year after the arrival of son Krew.
“Evening things out this year with Baby Girl Harper,” Kayla mentioned in her pregnancy announcement earlier that summer.
In a December 2024 Instagram post showcasing Brooklyn’s unicorn-themed birthday party, Kayla highlighted her daughter’s spirited personality.
“Celebrated our 4-year-old snack queen a couple of weeks ago 🦄✨,” she wrote. “Brooklyn has the sass that could take out an army and a heart that could heal the world. We love you, sis!”
Brooklyn particularly enjoys the outdoors, developing a passion for fishing and hiking with her older brother. However, “slow days with daddy” are her favorite, as Kayla mentioned. In a May post, Harper was seen pushing Brooklyn on a swing in their backyard.
“A moment for Brooklyn and her red dress she refuses to take off ❤️,” Kayla added.
Kamryn Ray Harper, 1
On April 22, 2024, Bryce and Kayla’s family welcomed their third child, daughter Kamryn Ray.
“Slice of Heaven🌸,” the couple captioned a photo of Kamryn peacefully sleeping in a basket.
Just three days later, Harper returned to the field after paternity leave and hit a two-run home run. This was not the first time Harper accomplished this; similarly, four days after Kayla gave birth to Krew in August 2019, he also hit a home run in his first game back.
The youngest member of the Harper family has already been introduced to the world of baseball. When the Phillies celebrated clinching their first NL East title in 13 years in September 2024, Bryce lifted Kamryn into the air and showered her with kisses, as shared in a video posted by Kayla.
Kamryn also made her debut at a football and hockey game when the family visited Ohio State University, Kayla’s alma mater, in October 2024.
“Finally got to bring my little buckeyes to one of my favorite places in the whole world,” Kayla shared alongside a post from the trip. “It was so special seeing them run around a campus that I love so much. Ohio forever 🫶.”
In 2025, Kamryn joined the family at Phillies spring training, where she took her first steps, according to her mom.
