Campbell ‘Pookie’ Puckett Cries in Emotional TikTok Video Praising Husband Jett and Single Moms
Campbell “Pookie” Puckett has nothing but love and appreciation for single moms.
On Saturday, Dec. 21, the influencer, 32, posted an emotional TikTok video in which she expressed her admiration for mothers who are raising kids on their own.
She was so emotional, in fact, that her husband, Jett Puckett, even brought her breakfast in bed to help make her feel better. But the thoughtfulness of her loving spouse also triggered her tears.
“I hope you’re having the best day. Jett just brought me breakfast in bed, and it seriously just made my day,” she said in the tearful video. “And I don’t know why I’m crying, but I just really felt the need to say that if you are a mom and you’re momming on your own or without help or support of your spouse, you are the most amazing person in the world.”
Campbell’s own motherhood journey began last month when she and Jett, 34, welcomed their first baby, a girl, together. On Nov. 12, they shared a sweet video on TikTok showing Campbell holding her daughter for the first time. In the clip, Jett gushed about their newborn and said, “My angel has now given me another angel. Daddy’s got two angels: Pookie and mini Pookie.”
“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Paloma Campbell Puckett,” Campbell and Jett told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement following the baby’s birth. “Being her mom and dad is the greatest gift of our lives.”
Now, weeks after Paloma’s arrival, Campbell is showing her appreciation for fellow moms — and acknowledging that parenthood isn’t always easy.
“If you’re doing the best you can and you are the best mom in the world, don’t let anyone ever make you feel differently,” she continued in Saturday’s TikTok video. “You’re doing amazing and it’s the best job, the hardest job.”
She added, “I’ve only been doing it for six weeks, but I just cannot imagine not having Jett by my side. And if you are doing it yourself, you’re incredible and I love you so much.”
The couple previously spoke to PEOPLE about the special meaning behind Paloma’s name , explaining that “Paloma is Spanish and Italian,” which means “dove.”
“Her name is filled with so much beautiful symbolism: in Greek Mythology, doves are associated with the goddess of love Aphrodite and symbolize grace and serenity,” they said. “In Christianity, doves are associated with the Holy Spirit and symbolize purity and faith.”
