Are Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber Dating? What the DWTS Partners Have Said About Their ‘Chemistry’ On and Off the Ballroom Floor

Throughout their partnership on the reality dancing competition show, the two often spoke — and received comments — about their chemistry.

In September 2024, E! News asked them if they were aware of the online chatter, to which Tran jokingly responded, “What chemistry? … We have so much fun together.”

During the show, Tran shared a behind-the-scenes look at their out-of-the-studio lake excursion, which was meant to help them get into their The Little Mermaid characters for Disney Week. Tran shared on TikTok that filming an activity outside of the dance studio made her feel like she was reprising her role on The Bachelorette.

Following their adventure, Tran jokingly asked Farber, “After this one-on-one date, how do you feel? Do you think you’re gonna get the rose tonight, Sash?”

They’ve kept up their dancing lessons after their DWTS elimination

Right after their elimination, Extra asked if Farber and Tran would date post-show. Although Farber softly dodged the question, he opened up about their partnership.

“I wanted her journey to be purely about dance, it wasn’t about our showmanship,” he said. “Yeah, we have amazing chemistry, and you can see that through our dancing, and I’m really proud of her.”

When explicitly asked if they were “shutting down” the rumors, Tran laughed and said, “Yeah, we just shut those down.”

She also told PEOPLE that she is walking away from the show “with a new family that I didn’t know that I had, and such an incredible man who I got to meet by twist of fate.”

However, once her time on the show wrapped, Tran continued posting videos with her dance partner. She joked that she had him on “speed dial” and teased that their followers “want the truth.”

They have also kept up with their dance lessons despite no longer needing to attend studio rehearsals. In the week after ending her run on DWTS, Tran shared on TikTok that “private rehearsals [are] starting ASAP.”

She posted a video of her knocking on Farber’s door, with the sound, “When one door closes, another door opens.”

Derek Hough, one of the DWTS judges, commented, “I give this a 100 🙂 happy for you two ❤️.”

Their family and costars “ship” them

During Disney Night, the pair danced a romantic rumba to The Little Mermaid’s “Kiss The Girl,” which ended with Farber kissing Tran on the forehead and sparked another wave of friends and family signing off on their spark.

Before giving critiques, Derek asked, “Is it weird for me to say that I ship this?”

As they awaited their scores, Julianne asked, “A kiss on the forehead? Sasha, come on!”

He told Julianne that he was going for “elegant” and “classy,” later telling PEOPLE that he thought he would “be a gentleman.”

Following her elimination, Tran posted a sentimental montage on TikTok with clips of her and Farber from their first rehearsal to their last, prompting friends, family and fans to comment on their flirty interactions.

Her brother, James, gave his stamp of approval by asking, “When’s the wedding rehearsal? 🤔.”

Meanwhile, their castmate Ezra Sosa wrote, “Im in a puddle.”
