Anne Hathaway’s face full of acne: she posted a selfie of her real face!+ photo

Anne Hathaway’s face full of acne: Anne Hathaway is taking the Gen-Z approach to tackling her acne. Rather than dabbing her blemishes with a cream, or popping them—the shock! the horror!—the Oscar winner, instead, went the demure route and added a cluster of colorful pimple patches to her face.

On Friday, Hathaway shared what might be her most relatable social media moment ever with a makeup-free selfie on Instagram. In the snapshot, the actress sat in her car while dressed in a blue crewneck seater, a denim baseball cap, and oversized black sunglasses, as well as two star-shaped stickers on her face (one pink, one blue).

“Stars, they’re just like us,” Hathaway cheekily captioned her post, adding a gold star emoji.

Fans were quick to praise Hathaway’s skincare hack in the comments section, with one user writing: “See how she [used] a star pimple patch instead of popping the pimple?

Anne Hathaway’s face full of acne: Very demure, very mindful, very cutesy.” Meanwhile, another said the selfie was giving “Princess Diaries vibes,” referring to when Hathaway’s character Mia Thermopolis rips off a pore strip in front of a boy she has a crush on in the film.

This isn’t the first DIY beauty treatment Hathaway has taught her followers. Back in June, the Devil Wears Prada star revealed that she plumps her lips by gently tapping them with a hairpin with a how-to video on TikTok.

“I’ve been sat in a chair for a while, we get on set and I took a look at the monitor and I thought my upper lip looked just a little wilted,” Hathaway said. “I sort of stimulated my lip to try and get some blood flow back there, to get some circulation.”

Anne Hathaway’s face full of acne: She did, however, add a few disclaimers. “You can overdo this, you can push too hard. It’s meant to be a gentle thing you don’t do longer than 30 seconds,” she explained. “Don’t stab yourself. If you’ve drawn blood you’ve gone too far. It’s not a vampire LipTok. It’s just a little something to wake your upper lip up.”
