Ana de Armas Holds Hands with Stepson of Cuba’s President as They Step Out Together in Madrid
Ana de Armas is spending more time with Manuel Anido Cuesta in Spain.
On Monday, Dec. 2, de Armas, 36, was photographed holding hands with Cuesta, the stepson of Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, as the pair went for a walk in Madrid.
The Knives Out actress was first seen spending time with Cuesta back in, Nov., when the pair were spotted sharing a kiss in Madrid.
De Armas grew up in Cuba but also holds Spanish citizenship through her grandparents. She told Vanity Fair in a 2016 interview that moving to Spain to pursue an acting career “was the only way I had to get out” of life in Cuba.
Representatives for de Armas did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
De Armas was last romantically linked to Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis. Prior to that, she dated Ben Affleck for roughly one year; the pair were first seen together in March 2020, and a source later told PEOPLE their January 2021 split was “completely amicable.”
De Armas most recently appeared in director Ron Howard’s movie Eden, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September but does not yet have a release date. The actress reportedly moved to a home in rural Vermont this past year; she told E! News in a September interview that she had “found a home where I really feel off the grid.”
“I can collect myself and only bring there who I want to be with. I have my little cocoon there,” she said at that time. “You just feel it when it’s time to change. Look out for yourself. There’s a time when you learn what’s good for you and what’s not. What serves you the most? Pay attention to that and take action.”
De Armas will next star in the action movie From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, scheduled to release June 6, 2025.
