Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer are married!
The couple tied the knot on April 20 in Los Angeles, marking nearly four years since Meyer proposed to Stewart in 2021.
While Meyer has been involved in Hollywood for a while, she gained significant attention in 2019 when her relationship with the Twilight actress became public.
Meyer, the daughter of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Meyer, first encountered Stewart on a film set in 2013. The two reconnected years later through a mutual friend, igniting a passionate romance.
“The day that I met her, it was like all bets were off,” Stewart remarked during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in November 2019.
In a February 2024 interview with Rolling Stone, Stewart shared her thoughts on why Meyer is so special to her.

Following in her father’s footsteps, Meyer works as a screenwriter for film and television.
She has writing credits for films, including 2015’s Loose Ends and 2016’s XOXO, which features Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland. Meyer also contributed to eight episodes of the comedy series Miss 2059 from 2017 to 2018. Recently, she co-wrote the screenplay for Amy Poehler’s 2021 coming-of-age film, Moxie, alongside Tamara Chestna.
While her primary focus is screenwriting, Meyer has also acted. Her credits include short films like The Death and Return of Superman, Wrestling Isn’t Wrestling, and Jem Reacts to the New Jem and the Holograms Trailer, as well as an episode of the TV series Homemade, in which she appeared with Stewart.

During her appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Stewart recounted how they met and later reconnected through a friend. “I met her years ago on a movie and hadn’t seen her in six years. Then she showed up at a friend’s birthday party, and I thought, ‘Where have you been, and how have I not known you?'” Stewart said.

Rumors about Stewart and Meyer dating began circulating in August 2019 when they were spotted kissing on a New York City street shortly after Stewart and her previous girlfriend, Stella Maxwell, had split in December 2018.

In an interview with Howard Stern on November 2, 2021, Stewart revealed that she and Meyer were engaged, with Meyer taking the initiative to propose.
“It’s not a given that I would be the one, you know what I mean? With two girls, you never know who will fulfill certain traditional roles. We don’t concern ourselves with that,” said Stewart. She added, “I jokingly suggested I wanted to propose, but then she just took matters into her own hands. It was incredibly sweet.”
While Stewart didn’t divulge the specifics of the proposal, she told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that Meyer “knocked it out of the park.”
