Before his role in The Last Five Years, Nick appeared in 2001’s Annie Get Your Gun, later joining the casts of Beauty and the Beast and Les Misérables — reviving his role for the latter during its 25th-anniversary concert.

In 2012, over a decade later, the performer took the lead in Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, stepping into roles previously held by Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss.

Warren earned a Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in 2021 for her transformative performance as Tina Turner in the biographical musical Tina, chronicling the legendary artist’s life story.

She first graced the Broadway stage in the musical Bring It On, showcasing music composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tom Kitt, and Amanda Green. Her standout role in 2016’s Shuffle Along, or, the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed garnered her first Tony nomination.
