Indulging in Exquisite Pulp Fiction-Inspired Steak: John Travolta’s Lavish Dining Experience with Celebrity Companions Unveiled!

Forget the “Royale with Cheese” — Pulp Fiction star John Travolta has a $1,000 steak served in a rhinestoned-encrusted briefcase on his mind.

Travolta, 71, visited Papi Steak in Miami on Saturday, March 29, to sample the restaurant’s Pulp Fiction-inspired “Beef Case,” a raw 55 oz. Australian Wagyu tomahawk steak presented in the elaborate briefcase.

The meal pays homage to a famous sequence in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 movie Pulp Fiction, in which Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson’s characters are assigned to locate a briefcase, although the contents of the case remain mysterious. At one moment, Vincent Vega (Travolta) opens the briefcase and appears content, as the item inside is left to the spectators’ imagination.

According to TMZ, Travolta replicated the scene — along with his nod of approval — when he was served the steak at Papi Steak, joined by restaurant co-owners Dave Grutman and David “Papi” Einhorn. Rapper Quavo and film producer and former Vanderpump Rules personality Randall Emmett, who was marking his birthday, were also present at the table in several photos shared by the restaurant on Instagram.

Emmett — who recently helmed Travolta and Quavo’s latest film High Rollers — also posted images of Travolta receiving the substantial steak on his Instagram Stories.

The contents of the movie’s briefcase have long been a topic of debate among fans. The restaurant’s post discloses that Einhorn has always believed he had the solution. “I always knew it was a steak,” he mentioned.

At the eatery, Travolta was seated with his meal companions surrounding him as he unveiled the case in a fashion reminiscent of Vincent in the movie.

Fans’ speculations about the briefcase’s contents include cash, gems, and even “the holy grail.” Some theorize it might even be the real essence of the film’s antagonist/anti-hero Marsellus Wallace, portrayed by Ving Rhames.

Tarantino has consistently evaded providing a definitive response about the briefcase’s contents, explaining that he intentionally kept it vague.

“It’s your task to decipher what’s in there,” Tarantino stated during an interview with Charlie Rose in 2009. “Now that’s your film.”
