Ashley Tisdale Says Being a Mom to 2 Girls Is Her ‘Favorite Thing’: ‘It’s Changed My Life in So Many Ways’ (Exclusive)
Ashley Tisdale is all about being a girl mom!
“I definitely love it,” the actress and singer, 39, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive conversation about being a mother to daughters Jupiter Iris, 3, and Emerson Clover, 3 months.
“Obviously it’s my favorite thing, and it’s changed my life in so many ways,” continues Tisdale, who has partnered with Pfizer and Litfulo, an FDA-approved pill for people 12 and older with severe alopecia areata.
“I think it’s been the best time, and I’m so grateful,” adds the High School Musical alum.
Tisdale and her husband Christopher French welcomed Jupiter in March 2021 and Emerson in September 2024.
With the new addition to her family earlier this year, the star says that her oldest daughter is thrilled to be an older sibling. “She is for sure loving being a big sis,” Tisdale says of Jupiter.
Looking at her own family dynamic, the Frenshe founder tells PEOPLE, “I was the baby sister, so I never got to be the big sister.”
“So I’m so glad that the girls have each other,” Tisdale adds of her two little ones.
Earlier this year, Tisdale elaborated on her fears of getting pregnant again after her difficult first pregnancy in a video posted on TikTok.
“After I had Jupiter, I was like, ‘I’m not doing this again.’ I think it was, like, physically really hard on me,” she said. “It was just, like, not for me the most amazing experience.”
“I think I started to think about it in that way, that, like, what a blessing it is to be able to have this cute little baby come into the world,” Tisdale continued. “When I think about it, do I see Ju-Ju as an only child?”
However, after seeing how social Jupiter was around other kids, she said she and her husband decided there “should be a little sibling for her.”
