A$AP Rocky Shares His Plans to ‘Hand Down’ His Clothes to His Sons RZA and Riot (Exclusive)

A$AP Rocky is no ordinary dad. He’s a cool dad. And he also happens to be one of the rap industry’s most stylish talents, a designer, and a fashion icon to the masses.

All of that means his sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, will be the lucky recipients of his chic hand-me-downs and will have no problem easing into their signature style when they get older — at least that’s what the dad of two wishes when his children wear his archives.

“They won’t have to really try to figure it out too hard. It’s going to be there for them,” the “Fashion Killa” rapper, 36, told PEOPLE exclusively at the Footwear News Achievement Awards in N.Y.C. on Dec. 4.

Right now though, his toddlers have a sartorial assist from their mom — who also happens to be Rihanna.

In his red carpet interview with PEOPLE, A$AP Rocky said the “Lift Me Up” singer, 36, is in charge of dressing their kids.

“I don’t have any contribution when my sons get dressed. Sometimes she dresses them like me with kilts and all of that, but that’s all they moms, man. She got good style and taste,” he gushed over his longtime partner.

The couple, whose relationship was confirmed in 2020, stepped out for a chic date night at the Footwear News ceremony in honor of his recognition. A$AP Rocky was outfitted in Bottega Veneta from his leather bomber jacket and silk trousers to his square-toe loafers. Rihanna wore a white shirt dress with a sexy thigh-high slit. She teamed the one-piece with white lace-up stilettos heels and statement jewelry.

It marked their second outing of the week following their head-turning appearance at the Fashion Awards in London on Dec. 2.
