Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s second-chance romance resulted in divorce after two years of marriage, while Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz ended their engagement after three years. On social media, Zach Bryan confirmed his split from girlfriend Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, and Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen announced the dissolution of their 13-year marriage.

On July 31, Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband of six years, Offset. A representative for Cardi confirmed to PEOPLE at the time of the filing that the decision was “not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.”

Josh Hall filed for divorce from his wife of two years, Christina Hall (née Haack) on July 15, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Ten days later, Christina filed an ex parte alleging Josh had made questionable financial moves during the days around their split.

Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry
Zach Bryan confirmed his breakup from influencer Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia on Oct. 22 via Instagram Stories.
“I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her,” the country singer wrote. “I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.”
In the weeks following, LaPaglia shared further details about their breakup, saying she had been “blindsided” and accusing Bryan of emotional abuse, among other things. (Reps did not respond to requests for comment.)

Lupita Nyong’o seemingly confirmed her split from Joshua Jackson during a Harper’s Bazaar UK interview in October.
“My love for my cat is singular. If I’m ever so lucky to be in a romantic relationship again, it’ll be because of him,” she told the publication.

“I think it’s been very obvious much I loved him and how hard I tried to work on our relationship,” Cartwright told PEOPLE in September. “I wanted to make sure I did every single thing I could possibly do to give it a chance and to try for my family, for my son, for my future, but I couldn’t do it anymore. Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia’s marriage ended on Sept. 11, two weeks after the Dancing with the Stars pro was arrested on accusations of corporal injury to a spouse. A rep for Garcia confirmed the news that she had filed for divorce to PEOPLE and added, “She continues to ask for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
Garcia is seeking legal and physical custody of the pair’s 4-year-old son Matteo in the divorce, while Chigvintsev requested joint custody.

Billy Ray Cyrus quietly filed for divorce from Australian singer-songwriter Firerose in May after only seven months of marriage. Court documents obtained by PEOPLE cited irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital misconduct as the reason, and Cyrus also sought an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
An insider told PEOPLE that “[Firerose] isn’t the person he thought he married.”
“He believes she married him so he [could] take care of her financially,” the insider added.

“We always say, ‘Hey, it made it 18 years. It shouldn’t have made it 18 years,” said Spelling, who shares five children with the actor. “And I think he would say the same thing if he and I had a real heart-to-heart. It would have been over a lot sooner.”
McDermott broke his silence on the split in a video obtained by the Daily Mail, stating that “it’s been a long time coming.”

Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott — who met on the 22nd season of Big Brother in 2020 and wed in May 2022 — ended their relationship when Abbott filed for divorce on March 1, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The filing came over a week after a domestic violence case, but at the time, it was unclear who filed the case.
Commenting on the split to TMZ, Abbott said, “It is unfortunate that the actions and intentions of individuals involved in this situation have led to the exposure of personal and sensitive information.”
In a separate statement, Garrett told the outlet, “My heart hurts. I did not want to have to file for divorce. I was doing everything in my power to work on our marriage. I only wish the very best in life for her and [her son] Loyal.”
