Country Music Star Randall King Announces Engagement to Brittany Warthan: ‘Love You to the Moon’

Country music star Randall King is engaged!

The “You in a Honky Tonk” singer revealed on Instagram on Thursday, Oct. 31 that he popped the question to singer Brittany Warthan with a set of photos showing the romantic, beachside moment.

He kicked off his post with a photo of him getting down on one knee in front of Warthan while holding the ring. Additional photos showed Warthan’s answer as she kissed King following the proposal while sporting her new engagement ring.

It appeared the couple changed into a new outfit for separate engagement photos, with King changing into a white striped shirt and Warthan donning a bright pink dress. In those photos, the pair could be seen exchanging more kisses and posing at sunset with big smiles on their faces. 

The bride-to-be could even be seen showing off her oval-shaped diamond ring in a close up shot of them holding hands with the sunset in the background. The country musician concluded the post with a sweet picture of their hands entwined together, with Warthan’s new engagement ring sparkling on her left finger.

“Doin my best to get the right things right, it starts with you,” King captioned the post. “4 years in the making, a lot of growing, a lot of learning, and a whole lotta love to get us here and I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else.” 

“Grateful for the love you give, the grace, the patience, the laughs, the joy, and now the years to come,” he continued. “There’s a lot of miles in front of us and I want only you by my side to take this life head on and make it ours. Love you to the moon bb!”

The groom-to-be also shared his excitement over the announcement on his Instagram Stories, resharing a boomerang Warthan posted of her flashing her new ring to the camera as he pointed to it and stuck his tongue out to the camera.

Warthan revealed on her Instagram, per Country Now, that King proposed on her birthday and described the proposal as “perfect.” She added, “I love you Randall King and I’m over the moon to be upgraded to FIANCE .” 

The couple have been dating for at least four years, according to the outlet. Warthan has even starred in some of the country singer’s music videos, including in his video for “You In A Honky Tonk” and has provided inspiration for some of his hit songs, like “Green Eyes Blue.” 

“I remember being at her place and I could see that her heart was really in this, and I wasn’t quite there yet. And I just remember going, ‘Man, I just hate to make her green eyes blue,’ ” he recalled to Country Now. 

“And we started dating and decided I’m leaving all that behind,” he added. “This is where I’m at. That’s my dedication. I’m dedicated to her.”
