Sabrina Carpenter Embraces Wine Mom Decor During Buc-ee’s Shopping Trip with Friends: WATCH
Sabrina Carpenter is living, laughing and loving while on tour in Texas!
The pop star, 25, was joined by a few of her friends while on the road amid her Short n’ Sweet Tour this week, when the crew apparently made a pit stop at a Buc-ee’s convenience store and documented the experience on TikTok.
In a now-viral video shared by her stylist and close friend Paloma Sandoval, Carpenter, her friends and her sister Sarah decided to hilariously read off some of the home decor on display at the store.
The clip, captioned “signs at buccees,” shows Carpenter proudly holding up random home decor with phrases that she delivered with a touch of sarcasm. While her friends read off signs like “Better to be late than to arrive ugly” and “I’m not old, I’m vintage,” the signs that Carpenter picked seemed to get the most laughs.
“You bring the tequila, I’ll bring the bad decisions,” Carpenter said in one clip, holding up a sign featuring the phrase as she smirked at the camera.
Carpenter’s next sign also earned a chuckle from her peers, as she dramatically delivered the line, “Step aside coffee, this is a job for alcohol.”
The third and final sign that the “Nonsense” singer showed off simply featured the word “Blessed,” which again earned some laughs from her friends.
Carpenter’s Buc-ee’s pit stop took place around the musician’s recent run of shows in Texas — where she stopped in Austin, Dallas and Houston to conclude her October Short n’ Sweet Tour dates. She’ll next make stops in Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and beyond as she continues the tour in November.
As for which Buc-ee’s the Carpenter crew stepped foot in, the Houston Chronicle notes that it was likely an Austin-area store ahead of her gig at the Moody Center this week, given that one of the signs featured “El Arroyo,” a popular Austin Tex-Mex location.
Outside of her latest run of shows, Carpenter has also been busy supporting her friends.
The “Espresso” singer joined pal Taylor Swift onstage during her Saturday, Oct. 26 concert at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans last weekend, when the duo performed a mash-up of Carpenter’s songs “Espresso” and “Please, Please Please,” as well as Swift’s track “Is It Over Now?”
Reflecting on the moment in an Instagram caption afterwards, Carpenter wrote that Swift’s Eras Tour stage was the “only stage I’d ever wanna see on a day off.”
“Thank you for working late, thank you for being a singer and thank you for having me🤍,” she wrote, referencing her hit song. “@taylorswift I love you!!”
