Eazy-E’s Daughter Welcomes Baby on Late Rapper’s 60th Birthday: ‘Happy Birthday Daddy’

Eazy-E‘s daughter Henree Cherron Wright is celebrating new life — and honoring her late father — after announcing that she welcomed a baby on what would have been her dad’s 60th birthday.

Wright, who performs under the name ReeMarkable, announced on Instagram on Sept. 8, that she gave birth to a baby on Sept. 7, which also marked the birthday of the N.W.A. legend.

To celebrate the moment, Wright posted a photo of her own arm as a newborn baby with a hospital bracelet on her wrist, alongside an image of her father, who died at age 31 in 1995 from AIDS-induced pneumonia.

“Happy birthday Daddy! 9/7/24 this for you. @derrtymillionz we did it. My soul mate. We owe each other the world and we gone continue to give it to each other,” Wright wrote, tagging her husband. “I love you husband I thank you for this gift this blessing. You the one fr.”

“Baby is here y’all!!! 6 pushes ! All natural. I wasn’t gone post but this was needed to be said #ripeazye #ripdoretha”

Several fans and friends commented on Wright’s baby announcement, including influencer Kris Summers, who wrote, “Awe this is amazing 😍 your dad sent you ur baby, probably letting you know he’s with you every step of the way🥹 wow. Congrats.”

“🥹🙌🏼 thank you so much , you and I both had such a blessed year 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹,” Wright responded.

Multiple outlets, including VIBE and BET, reported that Wright’s baby is a boy. Per the outlets, Eazy-E was a father to 11 children.

An Amazon Baby Registry in Wright’s name detailed her due date as Sept. 22.

In a follow-up Instagram post, Wright detailed her experience giving birth — from her waters breaking the morning after a gathering with loved ones to the moment she drove 45 minutes to the hospital in a Tesla.

The clip, posted just days after the baby announcement, featured narration from Wright as she showed footage from a “ready to pop” party hours before her waters broke the following morning. After her waters broke, she filmed her experience packing — with help from another one of her children — before driving herself to the hospital in a Tesla for 45 minutes.

“Without Tesla, I don’t know how I was getting to the hospital because I did not want to ride in an ambulance,” Wright said in the clip. “And I couldn’t wait on nobody.”

With her doula Kesha right behind her, Wright eventually made it to the hospital.”I have so much to say but no time just know God is good and I have been on cloud nine since September 7,” she captioned the footage, also shared to TikTok. “I just wanted to share a little 🥰🫶🏼 s/o to @teslamotors though 😂”
